Mark is senior director of hotel development EMEA at Worldhotels, an exclusive collection of the world's most unique independent hotels with over 450 affiliate properties in more than 250 destinations and 65 countries worldwide, under the banner "Unique Hotels for Unique People". Before joining Worldhotels Mark was global director of sales for Great Hotels of the World, a collection of some of the best four- and five-star luxury hotels and resorts worldwide, and previously as director of sales UK & Ireland with Preferred Hotel Group, a network of over 700 hotels through the brands of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Preferred Boutique, Summit Hotels & Resorts and Sterling Hotels. Having trained in the first boutique hotel in Perth, Australia, in 1986 and with 10 years working in the airlines industry for such airlines as Virgin Atlantic, Air Canada and Air Mauritius, Mark has a strong international background and 25 years experience covering both the hotel and travel industries.
