Alex has more than 20 years of extensive international and multi-unit senior level management and leadership exposure within a variety of luxury and lifestyle hospitality segments.He has held several senior executive positions with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts (nowadays IHG), Ian Schrager Hotels (nowadays Morgan's Hotel Group) as the opening and general manager of Sanderson in London and as executive vice president of Design Hotels, a hotel competence platform with 200 individual design led hotels. Alex is the founder of Spencer Management Partners AG, an investment leadership and performance management firm for investors, owners, developers, and lenders within the hospitality and tourism industry. Alex holds a MBA from Brunel University, a diploma in management from Henley Management College in the UK, and a diploma in hotel operations & management from IHTTI in Switzerland.
