Andrew is head of the hospitality sector at haysmacintyre Chartered Accountants and tax advisers and has been with the firm since 1999 and a partner since 2007. He has a wealth of experience in advising hotels, golf courses, pubs, bars, private members clubs and restaurants and acts for many famous brand names across London and the UK. As well as audit and tax compliance work, Andrew regularly provides clients in the sector with consultancy advice. This includes corporate strategic planning and financial benchmarking, the building of complex financial models for clients that allow them to budget more accurately or consider a new acquisition more carefully and acting as reporting accountant on flotations on both the FTSE and on AIM. His team performs due diligence work for both new acquisitions and additional bank lending. As well as attending and speaking at hospitality sector specific seminars and conferences Andrew writes about industry issues regularly, including the firm’s bi-annual hospitality briefing which provides topical updates on the sector.
