Bridget started her career in the hospitality industry while still at school, working in the tea rooms of a famous National Trust property. She decided this was the route she wanted to follow and spent some 13 years in the operational side of the industry working in the UK and France. Bridget worked for a range of hotel groups including De Vere, Grand Metropolitan, Penta Hotels, Cunard Hotels, Centre Hotels and the Lowy Group.

Bridget joined the specialist hotel & leisure consultancy team at PKF London in 1990 where she worked for more than a decade. Then after two years at a chartered surveying firm specialising in the leisure and planning side of the industry, she set up her own consultancy in January 2006.

Aside from UK developments she has undertaken consultancy projects throughout, Europe, the Middle East and Africa for a range of clients including hotel chains, conference centres, independent hotels, spa and resort operators, developers, and funding institutions. Bridget regularly works for boutique hotel operators or assists those considering entering the sector.

Bridget is a regular moderator and speaker at industry events and is a visiting lecturer in hospitality and events studies at two universities. She is a fellow of HOSPA and a former council member of the Meetings Industry Association.
