Huw is an experienced corporate banker having worked for HSBC for over 30 years; he has specialised in hotel funding since 2003. HSBC has been a consistent supplier of debt and other services to the UK hotel industry over a long period. Over the last few years HSBC has been particularly active in the sector in the UK and has funded a number of hotel acquisitions and developments both in London and in the regions, both for existing and 'new to Bank' customers, and including branded, un-branded, luxury, boutique and budget hotels.
