Jonathan joined RCH in 1998 as general manager of The Rubens at the Palace, he was appointed managing director in 2000 and has overseen the growth of the company from three hotels to 14 international properties, a stand alone bar restaurant and a country inn. 

During this period of growth there has been huge investment in both the properties and our team of staff. The extensive training and development programme that we offer has created a motivated team of over 1500 staff who are focused on providing consistent, warm and sincere hospitality.

The company has been universally recognised and Jonathan is especially proud of the fact that Red Carnation Hotels was the first company to be awarded the Investors in People Gold Standard across its entire worldwide operation. In addition the company debuted in 71st place in The Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to work for 2012. Jonathan’s own contribution to the hospitality industry was recognised when he was named Hotelier of the Year in November 2009 at the HotelCateys.
