As the Founder & CEO of The ONE Group, a global hospitality company that develops and operates upscale, high-energy restaurants and provides hospitality management services for venues including hotels, casinos and other high end locations, Jonathan Segal is a pioneer of the industry. With nearly 40 years of experience, Jonathan formed The ONE Group in 2004, bringing his expertise to New York. Following the success of its first New York venture, The ONE Group created STK, a modern twist on the American steakhouse. The first location opened, also in the Meatpacking District, in 2006.  Since then, the STK brand has rolled out to Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Washington D.C., a second Manhattan location in Midtown NYC, London and will add Chicago, Orlando and Milan in 2015. In 2015 The ONE Group will also launch STK Rebel, a more accessibly priced STK with a broader menu opening in Denver and Miami.The ONE Group now operates with two divisions: STK Restaurants and ONE Hospitality, a turn-key food and beverage service specifically designed for hospitality venues including hotels, casinos and other high-end locations across the globe. Segal was named Ernst & Young’s 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year for the New York region, and in 2014, The ONE Group was featured by Crain’s New York Business as one of New York’s 50 fastest growing companies as part of Crain’s Fast 50 – the only hospitality company included.
