Having recently completed the £40 million refurbishment of the Great Northern Hotel, Archer Humphryes will be adding a number of luxury hotels in Westminster and LaLit London at One Tower Bridge, to their hotel design portfolio in 2014 and 2015.

Julie studied architecture at Cambridge University and has been a founder of Archer Humphryes Architects since 2002, concurrently acting as head of yoo Design Studio since 2004.  She has been involved in the entire international portfolio with clients and partners, especially concentrating on the creative lead on hotels, residential projects, and hospitality projects.

Previous experience includes being part of the Yoo Starck/Hitchcox management team, working on a number of lead projects in the creative industry and as a creative designer with Virgin Atlantic Airways.  These include the award winning flagship lounge for Virgin Atlantic Airways at Heathrow and the highly publicised A380 Airbus Industrie interior. Julie Ann has worked extensively with designers such as Philippe Starck, Christian Liaigre and John Pawson, starting as a project architect on the Starck's Sanderson Hotel, London, formerly Ian Schrager Hotels, with Denton Corker Marshall.
