A journalist of almost 20 years, Kevin May began his career as a sub-editor with the Police Gazette newspaper at New Scotland Yard in London. He left in 1997 to read criminology at university and then joined the Essex Enquirer as a reporter before becoming a core member of the editorial team at business title Media Week (UK).

After running Mediaweek.co.uk for two years, during which time the title switched to a web-first news strategy, Kevin became the first full time editor of Travolution at Reed Business Information UK, a sister title of Travel Weekly UK focusing on online travel. He played a major role in driving the growth of the magazine, as well as launching a website, awards scheme, annual conference, blog and podcast.

Travolution was shortlisted for Magazine of the Year (2007 PPA Awards) and Research Project of the Year (2008 AOP Awards) for its Travolution Generations initiative. Kevin is one of the founding members of Tnooz, joining in August 2009. Since then Tnooz won the Online Travel Trade Publication of the Year at the British Travel Press Awards in both 2011 and 2012. He runs editorial operations for Tnooz from his base in the UK. Kevin is a regular speaker, panellist and moderator at industry events, including the PhoCusWright conferences, ITB Berlin, ITT, WebinTravel, ABTA and IAB (UK).
