Nigel is the industry head within the Google Travel team with particular responsibility for the hotels & accommodation sub-sector. Nigel focusses on helping travel clients identify and act upon latest trends in consumer behaviour and technology adoption - and optimize their marketing spend accordingly. Nigel is also involved in the development and deployment of Google's own travel products such as Hotel Price Ads, Hotel Finder and Google Flight Search.

Nigel has spent more than 15 years advising the hospitality and leisure industries in Europe, the US and Asia in his capacity as a strategy consultant with Arthur Andersen and more recently with Deloitte. He has advised many of the world's leading hospitality, leisure and travel companies - as well as advising public bodies on tourism strategies and policy.
