Originally from Buxton, Derbyshire, Peter got his start in hospitality in the Palace Hotel as a part time waiter. He worked his way up to conference and banqueting manager before moving on to work as house manager for Von Essen Hotels in Ashbourne. A string of placements around the UK followed, from Macclesfield to Bournemouth, Loch Lomond to Gloucester, working for hotels in the Paramount/Barcelo, De Vere, Von Essen and Hallmark hotel groups. Peter is now general manager at Marco Pierre White’s Wheelers St James Kings Arms in Fernhurst West Sussex, and is relishing working in a smaller environment where his passion for all things F and B excels.
