Philip Newman-Hall - Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons
Philip's career has spanned 40 years. He's worked with both private owners and group properties, among them Richard Branson's Virgin Hotels. He has experience in the UK and abroad, having worked in Morocco, South Africa, China and the Caribbean. Since returning to Le Manoir he has been delighted to accept Catey Awards on behalf of Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons for Front of House Team of the Year 2010 and Hotel Group of the Year 2011. He was awarded Manager of the Year at the Catey Awards at Grosvenor House in July 2011.
In 2012 Le Manoir was awarded by Springboard Awards for Excellence, Winner of The Education Pipeline Award, Winner of Best Student Placement Provider, Winner of Best Recruitment Initiative, Winner of Young People Award and the Sustainable Restaurant Association, Winner of the Environment Award.
Philip sits on many industry bodies and is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality. He is a Master Innholder and is chairman of the BHA South East Region. He is a governor of Aylesbury College.
