Rob van der Beek

Rob started his career in the early nineties at the commercial department of one of the largest conference hotels in Amsterdam, the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. After the acquisition of three other hotels in Amsterdam Rob became commercial director of the Krasnapolsky Hotels & Restaurants group. Later he moved on to Worldhotels as sales and marketing director for the Benelux heading up the region with over 22 unique member hotels. Throughout his career Rob also worked in commercial role ́s at ACCOR Netherlands and at Westbridge Europe, a daughter company of Westmont and a franchise partner of IHG. In September 2012 Rob returned to Worldhotels as senior director hotel development EMEA for the group, with a focus on growing the new full license or soft branded Worldhotels concept. Currently Worldhotels represents nearly 500 unique four and five star hotels around the world. On April 24th 2014 Worldhotels launched its own global loyalty programme Peakpoints.

Rob is board member of the HSMAI network and part time lecturer in hospitality marketing at one of the Dutch Hospitality universities.
