Stephen C. Brandman is the co-owner of Sixty Hotels along with his partners Larry, Michael and Jason Pomeranc. A veteran of the industry, Brandman has been in the hotel business for close to 30 years. For 12 years he was the co-owner and founder of Thompson Hotels. In 2011 Stephen was one of the founders and CEO of Commune Hotels which owned and operated Thompson Hotels and Joie de Vivre. In late 2013, Brandman along with his partners sold their interest in Thompson, Joie de Vivre and Commune Hotels. Prior to founding Thompson Hotels, Brandman spent 16 years with InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. He managed properties in New York, London, Miami, Chicago and Hilton Head Island for them. He also headed up InterContinental’s Quality, Standards and Revenue Management department for 150 hotels around the world based in both London and Atlanta. Currently Stephen oversees a growing portfolio of hotels which are currently located in New York, Miami Beach and Los Angeles. Brandman is a graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
