Caroline and her husband Jonathan took over Cedar Manor in spring 2007 and extensively refurbished and restored the wonderful hotel over the next 10 years. They are very service orientated and encourage all their staff to be the same. All aspects of the hotel, from room and bathroom design to breakfast menu, is from the guest’s perspective. This is how the couple run and manage the hotel and what makes them tick, it’s all about high standards and customer service.

Prior to Cedar Manor, Caroline worked for Estee Lauder and in retail, in some of London’s best known stores such as Harrods, Selfridges and John Lewis, where she was mentored in customer service. It’s not all work - Caroline enjoys trail running in the Lake District, has done two London Marathons and also does some watercolour painting.
