The Food Busker

John Quilter is an entrepreneur, broadcaster and chef.

More recently JQ has been propelled into prime-time viewing in form of Food Junkies, via the new 24hr TV channel dedicated to the capital – London Live. John’s popular Food Busker YouTube channel sees him interview established and up-and-coming names in the music world whilst cooking for them. Food Busker films have also been created for Adidas, Universal Music and Island Records. Alongside this JQ has his own series on Jamie Oliver’s FoodTube channel – attracting fans from around the world with his fresh take on presenting. This unique style has welcomed John as a regular at shows such as BBC Good Food, Grand Designs Live and Taste of London. In another life, he ran business for Raymond Blanc and Sir Terrance Conran as well as operating his own Michelin-listed, award winning brasserie; Marmalade. John has also consulted for some of the most esteemed London institutions, including The Ivy, Le Caprice, Soho House. When JQ isn’t in front of a camera, he spends his days building and developing coffee business CRU, with his friends and co-founders Colin Pyle, Bodil Blain and Matt Hieman. The business, which provides organic, fair trade speciality coffee in a Nespresso compatible pod, has launched to rave reviews (including The Sunday Times voting it best coffee in a pod).
