Piers is the CEO of International Hospitality Media (IHM) and the founder of Boutique Hotel News.

Piers is the founder of Boutique Hotel News. He cares passionately about the growth of niche sectors within the hospitality industry. He devised and hosts the annual Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit.

In 2013 he launched the annual Serviced Apartment Summit - the b2b conference for the burgeoning serviced apartment, aparthotel and extended stay hospitality sectors with wide industry acclaim. Piers is the driving force behind the Hostel and Budget Traveller conference and exhibition which he launched successfully into the market in November 2014.

He oversees the development of India's inaugural Luxury Hospitality Summit. Piers holds an MBA, ISMM and IDM Diplomas. He has also held senior positions in the national media and retail industries.
