Stefan Tweraser
SnapShot
Stefan is CEO of hotel data analytics business SnapShot.
After studying business and economics at Wirtschaftsuniversität Vienna, Stefan joined McKinsey & Comp. where he worked on projects in industries like retail, telco and consumer goods. His main focus was on sales and marketing initiatives and he did research on people and performance management. In 2003, soon after Stefan was elected principal at McKinsey & Comp., Telekom Austria, asked him to join their management team to head efforts in marketing and product management. Under his leadership, Telekom has been able to significantly reduce fixed-line customer churn while maintaining overall price stability. They also introduced various new internet-products and innovations (e.g. internet-based TV). In 2008 Stefan joined Google as country director for the DACH region, leading direct and agency sales teams in this demanding market. He drove numerous cross-functional activities as a member of Google’s European management team and acted as external ambassador in a economically and and politically very challenging environment. Since 2015 Stefan brings his high-tech and leadership experience to SnapShot and the hospitality industry. This industry is rich with guest and marketplace data, but it faces challenges in putting that data to use in the form of revenue-driving analytics. SnapShot works on providing and enabling frictionless technology to make hotels easier to manage with more to focus more on their guests.
