With over 20 years of international experience in sales and marketing, Vivien has held senior roles with global organisations including hotel company InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), digital agency Proximity BBDO and the hospitality and leisure division of Emaar.
Until recently leading the development of Glion Institute's global partnerships with corporates and media in hospitality and luxury Vivien devised Executive Education solutions and marketing opportunities promoting on campus and online learning. Prior to this Vivien was Corporate Director of Marketing for Emaar Hospitality Group, where she was responsible for driving the Group’s global brand, digital, social media, loyalty and PR strategies. As member of the Executive team, Vivien contributed to setting the foundations for the continued rapid expansion of this lifestyle company and enhancing customer experiences through the development of digital platforms, the launch of innovative brands such as Rove Hotels, and the Group’s first loyalty programme, UbyEmaar.
Of British and Canadian nationalities, her academic credentials include a Masters in Marketing from Vierick Business School in Belgium, an HBA from the University of Western Ontario in Canada, and attended hospitality management studies at Cornell – ESSEC in France.
