Virgin Hotels

VP development
Alex is responsible for leading the expansion of Virgin Hotels in EMEA. Working closely with capital partners and strategic investors, Virgin Hotels expect to acquire two or three properties in cities across Europe. After recently announcing Edinburgh as our first property in Europe, the brand is keeping options open. Key cities such as London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Dublin and Amsterdam remain a top priority. Prior to Virgin Hotels, Alex most recently served as VP development for YOTEL, and previously as director of development for Orient-Express Hotels Ltd (Belmond) where he managed more than $500 million of acquisition, financing and dispositions of non-core assets. He successfully executed third party hotel management agreements for OEH in London and North American (Cadogan Hotel, Durley House and The Inn at Perry Cabin).
