Acorn Award-Winner Steve Lowy is a successful hotelier and entrepreneur. Founder of Umi Hotels and co-founder of Umi Digital, Steve has been connected with the hospitality sector his whole life. The Umi brands have been featured in various press including CNN International and have won awards such as Best Support Service to the Youth Travel Sector in 2014.These accolades, along with his successful internship program and many other awards, have also gained him board director positions for BETA (British Educational Travel Association) and is now vice chairman of the HMA (Hotel Marketing Association). Steve is very passionate about supporting independent hoteliers punch above their weight through education , support and implementation of marketing and technology related strategies.
